Our Mission
Our mission is to feed and clothe anyone in need. We strive to provide nutrition and covering, with the goal of ending scarcity through compassion and service for all humanity.
With the help of donations and volunteers, we provide food, clothing, and hygiene items to anyone in need. We also distribute hot meals to people in high poverty areas. We offer resources for housing and rehabilitation programs. We provide workshops to prepare individuals for employment opportunities.
We strive to provide resources and assistance that provide change so that one day the accepting hand will be the giving hand.

The organization offers a range of resources addressing homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health awareness. Open Hand Corporation is committed to not only meeting immediate needs, but also to providing services that foster lasting positive change. Available programs include counseling, résumé development, and interview preparation workshops. Our mission is to deliver assistance that empowers individuals and creates enduring improvements in their lives.

Growing up in a home where your parents did the best they could but it often times wasn't enough is hard. You learn early in life that family is more important than material things. It pushes you to work harder in life and never forgetting where you came from. We'd like to believe that everyone has just enough or better. That is simply not the case. Some people don't have enough, where others may have more than enough. Our mission is to do the best we can to help those that don't have enough by providing hot meals, clothing, compassion, and a lot of love.
